Job summary

InterCare Community Health Network is seeking a fully trained, part-time Dental Assistant. A trained assistant requires a dental assisting program or 1 year of on-the-job experience. The role supports dentists and hygienists, maintaining clean operatories and accurate documentation in our EHR system.

Qualifications

• Dental assisting training or 1 year of on-the-job dental training experience.
• Proficient in use of current Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist dental providers with high quality patient care.
• Prepare operatory and seat patients; take vital signs when required.
• Document workflows in EHR/EDR per guidelines.
• Maintain operatory inventory and sterilize instruments according to policy.
• Assist dentists and hygienists to optimize productivity.
• Schedule return appointments and provide post-op instructions.
