Marklund Day School in Geneva, IL is seeking Teacher's Assistants and Paraprofessionals for a year-round dayschool. The role runs Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM, with pay rates ranging from $20.00 to $23.50 per hour based on experience and credentials.

The school serves individuals with disabilities and offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including tuition reimbursement and a variety of insurance plans.

Qualifications

• Illinois Paraprofessional Educator license is required and can be obtained after being hired within 30 days.
• A $500 bonus is offered for obtaining the license.
• Candidate must have at least a high school diploma or GED.

Responsabilités

• Assist teachers with classwork and the daily care of students with special needs.
• Provide direct care, attend In-services and other educational functions as required.
• Keeps equipment in classroom in clean condition and provides safe physical environment for all students.
• Documents all goals/program which includes the daily participation records after completion of a task with a student.
• Works directly with the students one-on-one and in groups outlined in the IEPs.
• Must successfully pass PCM training.
