Job summary

ASU Preparatory Academy is seeking a paraeducator to support students in the classroom under the supervision of a qualified teacher. You will work with small groups, reinforce skills, supervise during lunch and play, and help prepare instructional materials to enable learning.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED with additional college credit or equivalent, and an active DPS fingerprint clearance. Regular attendance is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with college credit or an associate degree.
• Active DPS fingerprint clearance card.
• Experience supervising and assisting groups of children preferred.
• Regular and predictable attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Works with small groups and directs activities under teacher supervision.
• Reinforces skills taught by the classroom teacher to groups and individuals.
• Supervises children during lunch, on the playground, etc.
• Assists with attendance, preparation and instructional materials.
