Job summary

MedCadre in Wyoming is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide evaluation and treatment services to patients with physical, cognitive, or developmental needs. The OT will develop individualized treatment plans to improve patients’ independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, creating plans, guiding home programs, and collaborating with physicians and teammates to ensure high-quality care while maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Occupational Therapist license in the applicable state.
• Experience in occupational therapy or a healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication, assessment, and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and identify functional limitations and therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic activities and exercises to improve daily living skills.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and home programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Follow safety, infection control, and patient care standards.
