The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a Certified Orientation & Mobility Specialist (COMS) to support students in Philadelphia, PA. This full-time role focuses on empowering youth with visual impairments to navigate environments and gain independence.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited program, COMS certification (ACVREP or NBPCB/NOMC), and an active PA license prior to placement. Prior school-based experience is preferred. Travel opportunities and stipends may be available.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Certified Orientation & Mobility Specialist certification (ACVREP, NOMC or NBPCB NBPCB NBPCB)
• School-based experience preferred for working with students
• PA state licensure required before placement
