Job summary

Fort Wayne Community Schools Kekionga Middle School in Fort Wayne, Indiana seeks an Assistant Track Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. This role involves coaching and supervising athletic practices and games and promoting a positive, inclusive environment for students.

Qualifications

• Preferred teaching at Kekionga Middle School for the 2026-2027 school year; if not FWCS teacher, must be available 3:30 PM Mon–Fri afternoons.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and supervise all athletic practices and games.
• Comply with IHSAA, MSAC rules/regulations and FWCS policies including code of ethics.
• Work effectively with students from multicultural backgrounds.
• Develop positive working relations with students, parents, teachers, and administrators.
• Maintain high expectations academically and athletically for students.
• Collaborate with head coaches and assistants to organize and run activities.
• Utilize and coordinate with coaching staff.
• Possess or obtain SPB/Minibus certification before season.
