LakeVille Community Schools is seeking a highly motivated candidate to serve as a Middle School Special Education Teacher.

The LakeVille Board of Education will offer the successful candidate an annual salary range of $43,497 - $84,878 commensurate with their education, skill level, and prior experience. The successful candidate will also receive a complete and competitive fringe benefit package, including MESSA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and Michigan teaching certificate.
• Endorsements in Autism, Cognitive Impairment, Emotional Impairment or Learning Disability preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; able to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Teach content using the district courses of study and related activities.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs.
• Establish classroom behavior standards for an effective learning environment.
• Use assessments to monitor progress and communicate with families.
• Collaborate with staff to support student health and learning.
• Develop and implement MTSS-based interventions.
