Qualifications

• Master's Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas school counselor certificate.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive developmental guidance and counseling program at the campus.
• Counsel students to develop academic, career, personal, and social abilities and address needs of special population students.
• Guide individual students and groups to plan, monitor, and manage educational and career development including graduation plans.
• Provide preventive, remedial, and crisis counseling as needed.
• Coordinate with teachers, families, and community resources to support student success.
• Maintain records, ensure compliance with policies, and promote a diverse, respectful school environment.
