Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited high school or GED.
• 2 years of competitive employment.
• 2 years Janitorial experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
• Demonstrated knowledge about the formal and informal supports available in the community to assist people receiving supports to identify and access.

Responsibilities

• Assists individual(s) to meet employment goals by teaching skills and providing supports.
• Supports individuals in developing friendships and relationships in work, volunteer and recreational settings.
• Provides on-site skill instruction and job training while encouraging natural supports.
• Monitors and assesses employer and consumer satisfaction.
• Analyzes potential job openings and coordinates job placement.
• Maintains contacts with employers, families and others in the lives of people served.
