Job summary

Center for Human Services (CHS) is seeking a Home Based Family Advocate to support families with children aged 0-5 through weekly home visits and family engagement activities in Sedalia, MO.

The role requires an Associates degree and strong computer skills. Bilingual Spanish/English capabilities are highly valued to engage diverse families and coordinate with community partners. The position includes daytime and occasional evening visits, with CHS providing comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required or equivalent.
• Excellent Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must obtain Class E driver's license within 30 days of starting.
• Background screening including fingerprinting is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist HS/EHS families in assigned service area.
• Provide weekly home visits (90 minutes) to families.
• Maintain caseload of 10–12 families and children.
• Enter data into program databases weekly.
• Adhere to Head Start Performance Standards and best practices.
• Support bilingual families (Spanish/English) as needed.
