Job summary

Telecare Corporation in California is seeking a Family Peer Recovery Coach to engage family members and participants, provide information, education, and resources to support the loved one’s recovery plan, and facilitate coordination with the clinical team.

The role includes completing intakes, facilitating groups, advocating for services, and ensuring families have a voice in care, with shifts on Friday and Saturday and starting pay between $23.00 and $23.71 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 2+ years in a mental health services environment.
• California: Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification through CalMHSA must be provided and verified prior to start date.
• At least five years of demonstrated experience as a parent or primary caregiver of a person with behavioral health care needs.
• Valid and current driver's license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
• Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups.

Responsibilities

• Engage family members and participants to support recovery goals.
• Provide information, education, and resources to families to support their loved one’s recovery plan.
• Offer direct support and case management to families and participants.
• Coordinate with clinical team to complete intakes/assessments and facilitate groups.
