Job summary

Camelot Society Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Mountlake Terrace, WA to assist individuals with disabilities by implementing IPPs/IISPs, promoting growth, and encouraging independence.

You will coordinate community involvement, maintain records, assist with meals, monitor health and safety, and support clients with medications under Camelot Society policies. A high school diploma and WA driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months working with special needs populations preferred.
• Must have attained a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.
• Current WA State Driver's License.
• Current Auto Insurance.
• Possess a reliable communication tool (Cell Phone).
• Present a current Motor Vehicle Report

Responsibilities

• Promote individual growth by implementing IPPs/IISPs through active treatment.
• Encourage independence in decision-making and reinforce desirable behavior.
• Coordinate involvement in community activities.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records per guidelines and Camelot policies.
• Coordinate planning, preparing, and serving meals as directed by nutritional guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation codes daily.
