Job summary

Learnability LLC is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide person-centered care for adults with disabilities in Minnesota. The role focuses on promoting independence, safety, and inclusion while supporting daily living activities, health monitoring, and community participation.

Shifts include weekdays and Saturdays; pay starts at $22.50–$24.00 per awake hour and $17.50 per night supervision, with Learnability as a 245D licensed organization delivering home and community-based services.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in the united states.
• Pass all required background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one assistance with daily living activities, personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
• Collaborate with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
• Support clients in engaging with their local community and activities to enhance social skills and independence.
• Implement positive behavior management techniques and address challenging behaviors.
• Monitor health status and document changes, communicating with healthcare professionals as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress, daily activities, incidents, and observations.
• Ensure safety and respond to emergencies appropriately.
• Advocate for rights and access to resources and services.
• Participate in ongoing training to improve disability support, communication, and care.
