Job summary

Easterseals-Goodwill in Great Falls, MT is seeking caring, supportive staff to help adults with disabilities in a compassionate, structured setting.

You will work with a team to promote independence, safety, and daily living skills while following safety protocols and care plans. Training and career growth are emphasized, with a strong commitment to respect and dignity for participants.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old
• Must have a current driver’s license
• Must have a clean driving record (no DUIs in last 3 years; no more than 3 moving violations in the past year; no more than 1 preventable accident within past 3 years, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Move participants safely using wheelchairs and assist with equipment during regular programs and emergencies
• Ensure participants’ safety during seizures, emergencies, or transfers
• Assist participants with range of motion exercises and OT/PT materials/equipment
• Train participants in vocational tasks and stand or lean for long training sessions
• Promote safety and maintain a safe environment for customers/participants and co-workers
• Assist with lifting heavy items up to 50 pounds and support transfers as needed
• Provide emergency first aid care including CPR when needed
