Sevita is hiring caregivers in California to support individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings. You’ll assist with daily living, hygiene, budgeting, nutrition, and community participation, while building trusted relationships with participants and their families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability and time-management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support participants with behavioral challenges and complex needs.
• Help participants participate in community activities and engage in preferred activities.
• Develop genuine relationships and advocate for participants’ needs.
