Job summary

The Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) is seeking a Therapeutic Program Worker (TPW) at the Southwest Developmental Center in Batavia, Ohio. This direct care role assists residents with daily living skills and supports independence toward personal goals, with tasks spanning personal care, planning activities, and documentation.

Full-time, variable shifts, compensation at $23.28 per hour, with opportunities to support diverse individuals and collaborate with a committed team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with 5 or fewer points.
• No experience required.
• Must meet Ohio Administrative Code requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with eating, bathing, dressing, and daily living tasks.
• Support residents in activities to promote independence.
• Complete daily and monthly documentation, including incident reports.
• Assist with planning and shopping activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and safety redirection.
