Job summary

Monarch Healthcare is seeking an Assertive Community Treatment Team Peer Support Specialist to provide community-based, individualized services and promote self-determination for participants with mental health and/or substance use disorders. Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• CPSS certification is preferred/required.
• Experience working with adults with mental health or substance use disorders.

Responsibilities

• Carry out duties as a member of the Assertive Community Treatment Team staff.
• Assist in comprehensive assessment of psychiatric history and daily living activities.
• Document participant progress to maintain records.
• Participate in staff meetings and treatment planning reviews.
• Provide direct services to participants individually and in groups.
• Assist participants with housing, transportation, finances, and access to services.
• Lead social and recreational activities to support social skills and routines.
• Maintain required agency and regulatory certifications.
