Qualifications

• Must have Educator Licensure with Stipulation or valid Illinois Teaching Licensure or 90-day sub licensure.
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow verbal or written directions.
• Ability to communicate and maintain good working relationships with staff.
• Pass physical and TB tests and complete CPI course.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher with students in the classroom.
• Supervise students in lunchroom, playground, and bus transitions.
• Use copier with teacher supervision to prepare materials.
• Assist with feeding and toileting of students requiring total care.
• Assist with lifting and positioning of non-ambulatory students.
• Assist students with self-help skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
