EastSide Charter School seeks an Apex Honors Teacher to join a turnaround-focused elementary program in Wilmington, Delaware. The role involves designing rigorous lessons, co-teaching, mentoring colleagues, and driving student achievement for underrepresented groups.

The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree and be eligible for Delaware teacher certification, with at least two years of teaching experience and strong pedagogy.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year institution; Master’s preferred.
• Eligible for State of Delaware certification as teacher in grade or content area.

Responsabilidades

• Hold high expectations for each student.
• Co-teach at least 1 period per day in mainstream classes.
• Coach a teacher at least 1 period per day.
• Develop and implement standards-based lesson plans and long-range plans.
• Attend weekly department meetings.
• Perform clerical duties related to textbooks, reports, records, attendance.
