Job summary

The Help Group in Palmdale is seeking a dedicated Employment Specialist to help individuals grow toward meaningful work. You will collaborate with families, educators, therapists, and employers to create individualized employment plans and secure job opportunities that fit each client’s strengths and goals.

You will deliver job readiness training, coordinate work experiences, and monitor progress while maintaining confidential records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
• Bilingual Spanish is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with consumers, families, educators, therapists, vocational counselors, and community partners to develop individualized employment plans.
• Provide job readiness training and coordinate work experiences to match clients with suitable opportunities.
• Develop relationships with community employers and support job development and placements.
• Monitor progress through on-site coaching, employer communication, and progress reporting.
• Maintain confidential client records and meet documentation standards.
