Job summary

InAlliance is seeking Employment Training Specialists to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community settings, including job sites, volunteering, and recreational activities.

You will provide personalized on‑the‑job training, help develop workplace skills, and promote independence while ensuring safety and respectful care. A CA driver license and CPR/First Aid certification are preferred or required within 30 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• AA degree or related certification preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. and verifiable employment eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with IDD in community activities, employment, volunteering, and recreation.
• Provide on‑the‑job training and help build workplace skills at job sites.
• Promote independence and assist with daily living activities as needed.
• Ensure safety, advocate for needs, and document incidents and progress.
• Maintain records, collaborate with families and professionals, and transport as required.
• Apply positive behavioral interventions and participate in ongoing training.
