Job summary

Community Options, Inc. in Manhattan, NY is seeking a dedicated Employment Specialist for a full-time role. You will coach individuals with developmental disabilities to build essential job skills and assist in job placement, preparing them for competitive employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years’ full-time work experience in supporting people with disabilities.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing.

• Coach the person with disabilities to develop independent job skills.

Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states.

We are Now Hiring a Full-time Employment Specialist in Manhattan, NY to coach persons with developmental disabilities and prepare them for employment. The Employment Specialist will develop essential job skills for persons with disabilities and assist in job placement.
