Burrell Behavioral Health in Farmington, MO seeks an Employment Specialist for the Individual Placement & Support Program to guide clients through vocational planning and job placement.

You will develop employer partnerships, conduct client orientations, assist with benefits planning, and support job retention while advocating for clients with disabilities. A valid driver’s license and travel are required, with a focus on meaningful community employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least one year of experience providing employment services.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement all phases of clients’ vocational services, including career planning and job placement.
• Build and maintain employer relationships to create opportunities for clients.
• Conduct client orientations to explain services and discuss rights and responsibilities.
• Assist clients with benefits planning and job retention skills.
• Advocate for clients with employers and educate them on hiring individuals with disabilities.
• Travel extensively to conduct job development and provide on-site supports as needed.
