Employment Services Manager

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations and coordination of employment services
  • Responsible for the supervision of Employment Consultants and Job Coach including hiring, training, service delivery, performance monitoring, and evaluation
  • Assure that all program employees are adequately trained and qualified to provide efficient and effective services
  • Schedule and supervise employment services staff in a manner that results in efficient delivery of services and that meets consumer needs

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain client files with current documentations according to New Hope, FSSA, CARF, DRS, VR and Medicaid standards, and oversee, the recording and compilation of monthly billing and documentation
  • Coordinate meetings and conduct meetings/conferences for clients and coordinate referrals when needed for specific services
  • Be accessible, flexible, and cooperative to the various customer groups, and their needs
  • Provide all services in compliance with applicable program regulations and best practices as in accordance with all applicable laws and CARF, BDDS, DRS, & VR
  • Ensure that all individual billing and related documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted per program expectations
  • Ensure the program operates in a fiscally responsible manner (billing submitted on time, accurately, meet budgetary expectations, and assist in reducing mileage costs for the department)
  • Maintain professional, working relationship with Vocational Rehabilitation, Schools and other community connections
  • Assure all services are delivered in a manner that, protects the health, safety, and welfare of the consumers served
  • Perform tasks as requested and held directly responsible to the Director of Social Services
  • Deliver services in accordance with PCISP/NOA/IHP or other written and approved program plans
  • Serve as a working manager and carry caseloads as needed
  • Be willing to respond, when off duty, for emergency needs of clients and staff
  • Assist staff when needed to ensure efficient operation of New Hope Services, Inc., Ability Services
  • Serve on Committees needed to ensure the efficient operation of New Hope Services, Inc., Ability Services
  • Be thoroughly familiar with and review at least annually, the Employee Handbook
  • Participate in training requested and offered by Vocational Rehabilitation, and New Hope Services, Inc., Ability Services
  • Attend Admission and exit meetings, and other meetings as required by funding source when requested by Director of Social Services
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding all clients, personnel, and financial matters of New Hope Services
  • Contribute to the team effort to accomplish goals/mission of New Hope Services, Inc.

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Valid driver's license, proof of insurance meeting company requirements, and reliable transportation for client transportation needs.
  • Current or ability to obtain and maintain required certifications, including TB screening, CPI, CPR, First Aid, and Universal Precautions.
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, coworkers, and community partners.
  • Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Flexible schedule to meet client and program needs.
  • Understand and Maintain a high level of confidentiality of staff and clients.
  • Good communication and problem solving skills.
  • Must be able to assist with coverage of caseloads when consultants are unavilable.
  • Knowledge of Employment Services programs as well as applicable regulations governing these programs.

Education/Experience

  • College degree in Social Services, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in Employment Services.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check with no disqualifying findings and a pre-employment drug screen.
