Job Description

Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana seeks energetic, self-motivated, dynamic professionals to join its expanding team. VOAOHIN is dedicated to helping those in need rebuild their lives and reach their full potential. The Employment Placement Specialist is responsible for providing job search assistance, job placement and retention services, and follow-up services for clients enrolled in the program. Responsibilities include developing training on resume writing and interview techniques, hosting internal job fairs, maintaining a database of job resources, and serving as a liaison with employers, clients, and staff.

Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma
  • At least one (1) year of experience in guidance, counseling, or job placement

  • First Aid & CPR certification (provided if not already obtained)
