Job summary

Fennemore in Phoenix seeks an attorney with 3-6 years of employment litigation experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda, counsel clients, and manage written discovery, depositions, and disputes while applying Arizona and federal law with minimal supervision.

The firm offers a flexible work environment with the possibility of a substantially remote arrangement; however, the candidate should expect to be in the office 1-2 days

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of employment litigation experience.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and memoranda.
• Counsel clients and manage written discovery and depositions.
• Familiarity with Arizona state and federal law.
• Strong research and writing skills; able to handle matters with limited supervision.

Job description

Fennemore, an AM Law 200 law firm that helps businesses thrive, has an immediate need for an attorney with 3-6 years’ quality employment litigation experience to join our Phoenix office. The ideal candidate will have experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, legal memoranda, and employee handbooks, counseling clients, and experience managing written discovery, depositions, and discovery disputes. Must have a working familiarity with Arizona state and federal law. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills required, along with the ability to manage matters with limited supervision. Arizona Bar membership and employment law experience is required.

Fennemore offers a flexible work environment. A qualified candidate may fill this role on a substantially remote basis but should plan to be in office 1-2 days a week after a period of acclimation and should be available to attend hearings and meetings in-person as needed.
