Qualificações

• Juris Doctor degree required and incumbent must be licensed to practice in Louisiana.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions and pleadings.
• Attend court conferences and manage discovery-related activities.
• Draft position statements and dispositive motions and advise clients on employment-law matters.
• Counsel clients and coordinate with opposing counsel and governmental agencies as needed.
• Contribute to a collegial, team-oriented practice and work with leading employment-law professionals.

Position Summary

Our New Orleans office has an opportunity for an Employment Litigation Associate to join the firm’s dynamic and long-established practice representing premier local and national employers. This is an excellent opportunity for associates to provide legal service within a sophisticated practice and who are seeking to assume a significant role in all aspects of labor and employment law. This role requires extensive contact with clients, governmental agencies and opposing counsel.

Our New Orleans office has an opportunity for an Employment Litigation Associate to join the firm’s dynamic and long-established practice representing premier local and national employers. This is an excellent opportunity for associates to provide legal service within a sophisticated practice and who are seeking to assume a significant role in all aspects of labor and employment law. This role requires extensive contact with clients, governmental agencies and opposing counsel.
Duties include, but are not limited to, performing legal research, drafting of legal memoranda, motions, and pleadings, attending court conferences, handling discovery-related activities and investigations, drafting of position statements and dispositive motions, and counseling clients on employment-law-related matters.
The right candidate will have a passion for employment law, strong analytical and writing skills, and an ability to relate to and inspire confidence with sophisticated business clients. Requirements

• Juris Doctor. Qualified candidates must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in Louisiana. During employment, must meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice.
