Job summary

Morgan & Morgan, P.A. is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our Employment Law department in Irvine, California. This full-time in-office role entails preparing legal documents, organizing evidence, and interfacing with agencies. Ideal candidates will possess an Associate degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a law firm environment and strong organizational skills.

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $100,000 and a robust benefits package including medical and dental insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

  • General litigation experience, preferably in federal court.
  • Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, and court rules.

Summary

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Employment Law department. This role is in-office 5 days per week with no flexibility to be hybrid or remote.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, legal memoranda.
  • Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices.
  • Interface with Administrative Agencies, including EEOC.
  • E-file court documents in federal and state court.
  • Prepare discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses.
  • Draft and serve summons.
  • Prepare deposition and hearing binders and exhibits.
  • Draft pleadings, motions and appellate documents and file them with the court.
  • Interfacing with clients to keep them apprised of the status of their case and to obtain documents needed for discovery.
  • Gather relevant information from a variety of sources.
  • Liaise between the attorneys and internal/external third parties, including co-counsel, counsel for defendants, and the courts.
Requirements
  • Associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience (preferred).
  • At least 2+ years of working experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law‑firm setting.
  • Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program (preferred).
  • General litigation experience, preferably in federal court.
  • Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, and procedures, practices.
  • Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Salary Range

$75,000 - $100,000 USD
