Loftus & Eisenberg, Ltd. is looking for an experienced employment lawyer to join our growing Employment Law Practice on an of-counsel basis. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated passion for employee's rights and an ability to manage employment matters independently from start to finish. This role is perfect for someone who has considered starting a solo practice but was unsure how to source clients, manage the business of law, or staff matters for trial. This is also an opportunity for an attorney to have more control over their docket and flexibility with their schedule, and thus permit dedication to other interests or responsibilities.
Compensation is based on attorneys' fees collected and thus a salary range is inapplicable. L&E Employment Law Practice members earned $50,000 and $675,000 last year, annualized. The Firm pays for malpractice insurance and makes health insurance available to counsel.
Qualifications
Loftus & Eisenberg, Ltd are experienced attorneys who work on alternative fee arrangements for all litigation matters. Unlike most firms whose fee arrangements are based solely on hours, our alternative fee arrangements can take the form of a flat fee, a fixed monthly retainer, a partial contingency fee, or pure contingency in which no attorney fees are paid unless we recover money. The Chicago litigation and arbitration lawyers at Loftus & Eisenberg customize and personalize representation and fee structure to suit each client’s particular goals. By basing our fees on results, not time spent, clients can rest assured that they are getting the most aggressive and efficient legal representation.
