Position Summary

Support individuals with developmental disabilities by mentoring and providing job development assistance in the Los Angeles/Northridge area. Responsibilities include job development, transportation support, maintaining employment, and building meaningful relationships.

• Arleta, Granada Hills, Glendale, Lake Balboa, North Hills, North Hollywood, Northridge, Palmdale, Studio City, Sylmar, Toluca Lake, Tujunga, Universal City, Van Nuys, Woodland Hills

Starting rate: $24/hr plus mileage, cell phone reimbursement, and bonus incentives for job placements ($100-600, prorated). Visit irioc.org/careers for other opportunities.

Responsibilities

Assist with job development, support with community integration, maintain relationships with employers, and support individuals in achieving employment goals. Ensure safety, provide support for healthcare needs, and complete documentation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• College experience preferred but not required
• Reliable vehicle, clean DMV record
• Experience with positive behavior support or ASD is a plus
• Bilingual skills desirable
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Includes standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and driving. Work settings include office, community, home supports, and outdoors.
