The opportunity

The Employer Relations Partner I develops strategic partnerships with businesses and organizations to support our Career Services team. Responsibilities include job development, promoting employer relations, facilitating employer engagements and regional employer events, reporting on employment outcomes and workforce trends. The role involves fostering relationships across the SNHU community and external partners, reporting to the Career Team Lead.

What you'll do
  1. Conduct employer outreach to build partnerships and increase career opportunities for students.
  2. Develop recruiting strategies for each employer, ensuring diverse academic program representation.
  3. Recruit and steward employer partners, assist with job description development, and ensure fair hiring practices.
  4. Use data to monitor progress and refine partnership strategies.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to support outreach and management efforts.
  6. Coordinate employer programming and events to enhance engagement outcomes.
  7. Represent the Employee Relations team at events.
  8. Perform other responsibilities as assigned, which may change at any time.
What we are looking for
  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in employer relations, career services, recruitment, HR, or post-secondary education.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with Handshake career management system.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, based on business needs.

Compensation

The annual pay range is $42,607 to $68,185. The target hiring range is $47,081 to $63,698, based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
