Job summary

Bowie State University seeks an Employer Partnerships and Experiential Opportunities Specialist (Contingent II) to build and sustain partnerships that create employment and experiential learning opportunities for students and alumni. The role coordinates employer engagement, event planning, and curriculum integration, working under the Assistant Director.

A bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ related experience are required; a master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health, counseling, HR, education, psychology, or related field.
• Three years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and sustain employer and community partnerships to expand employment and experiential opportunities for students and alumni.
• Conduct intake meetings with partners to design partnership plans and recruitment processes.
• Assist partners and faculty with Handshake and related systems to post opportunities and update content.
• Administer surveys and analyze data to evaluate partnerships and outcomes.
• Meet with students and alumni to provide guidance on employment and experiential opportunities.
• Collaborate with faculty and partners to integrate opportunities into curricula and co-curriculum.
• Plan and coordinate large-scale recruitment events and targeted initiatives with partners.
