Colonial Country Club is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Employee Shuttle Driver to transport staff between designated pickup locations and the club. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to punctuality, customer service, and vehicle safety while ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride for employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a shuttle bus or van to transport employees to and from the club.
  • Adhere to scheduled pickup and drop-off times while maintaining a flexible approach to accommodate operational needs.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and report any issues.
  • Maintain a clean and well-kept shuttle interior and exterior.
  • Provide a friendly and professional atmosphere for all passengers.
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with leadership regarding scheduling or vehicle concerns.
  • Assist employees with boarding and exiting the shuttle as needed.
  • Respond promptly to any transportation-related inquiries or concerns.

Schedule:

This position is scheduled to work Tuesday through Friday, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Occasional flexibility may be required to meet the needs of the department or special events.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required, depending on vehicle size) required.
  • Clean driving record with no major violations.
  • Previous experience in passenger transportation, shuttle driving, or a similar role preferred.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in all situations.
  • Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
  • Capable of assisting passengers with limited mobility.
  • Able to conduct routine vehicle inspections and minor maintenance checks.

Background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle record required.
