Job summary

Unifi Aviation LLC is seeking Bus Operators to safely transport employees between terminals and parking areas, following passenger specifications and company policies. You will perform pre/post flight equipment checks, adhere to safety protocols, and deliver courteous service to employees and guests while coordinating with dispatch and maintenance teams.

The role requires a valid CDL endorsement, a clean driving record, and the ability to work rotating shifts in an outdoor environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid Driving License.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required by airport/state/customs.
• Must possess a TN CDL A or B with a P endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and enforces safe working conditions per regulations, Unifi policies and safety procedures.
• Promotes and adheres to Safety, Anti-Harassment and Equal Employment Opportunity policies.
• Perform Pre & Post DVIR safety checks of your assigned bus.
• Follow and maintain safety protocols and best practices.
• Maintain professional appearance while on duty.
• Provide customer service aligned with bus service.
• Coordinate with clients for passenger/crew movement from remote areas to the terminal.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Bus Operator is responsible for safely delivering employee shuttle passengers to assigned airport area in accordance with passenger specifications.

Job Duties

• Monitors and enforce safe working conditions in accordance with regulatory requirements, Unifi policies and safety procedures, and all applicable laws.
• Promotes and adheres to policies concerning Safety, Anti-Harassment and Equal Employment Opportunity.
• Perform Pre & Post DVIR safety checks of your assigned bus.
• Follow and maintain safety protocols, using safety exercises as "the go to" recommended best practices.
• Conduct and maintain professional appearance while on duty.
• Provide customer service that always aligns with bus service.
• Able and willing to transport buses to and from the maintenance shop for preventable maintenance service.
• Always adhere to traffic safety regulations, exercise caution in treacherous circumstances and report unsafe vehicle or road conditions to supervisors.
• Use CB radios to stay informed of route information and communicate with supervisor and colleagues.
• May be required to assist with bags no more than 13 pounds.
• Coordinates with clients in performing additional operation activities regarding passenger/crew movement from a remote area to the terminal.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent education.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a valid Driving License.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.
• Possess a Valid TN CDL A or B with a P endorsement.

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of relevant work experience in the bussing/shuttle industry.

Physical requirements

• Must be able to constantly lift, move up to 70 lbs, push, pull; and constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, grasp outwards and bend.

Working conditions

• Must be able to work rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime.
• Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.
