Zoom is seeking an Employee Relations Manager to lead our end-to-end employee relations function across US locations. You will manage complex workplace investigations, develop manager enablement programs, and advise business leaders and People Business Partners.

The role requires 8+ years in employee relations, deep California employment law knowledge, and a proven ability to coach managers and build scalable HR processes. Experience in tech/SaaS is preferred.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of employee relations experience, including leading investigations involving multiple stakeholders and senior employees.
  • Deep knowledge of California employment law and multi-state US compliance.
  • Proven track record coaching managers through documentation, conversations, and accountability processes.
  • Precision in documenting investigations, case resolutions, and performance actions for legal scrutiny.
  • Experience building scalable employee relations processes, compliance training programs, and documentation systems in fast-growing environments.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or employment law certification; tech/SaaS with distributed workforces preferred.

What We're Looking Fo r

8+ years of employee relations experience, including leading complex workplace investigations involving multiple stakeholders and senior employees.

Deep knowledge of California employment law and multi-state US compliance requirements, with demonstrated ability to apply legal insight to risk assessment and organizational decision-making.

Proven track record of coaching managers through performance documentation, difficult conversations, and accountability processes, including providing real-time guidance during active performance situations.

Precision in documenting investigations, case resolutions, and performance actions with the detail and consistency required to withstand legal scrutiny.

Experience navigating difficult conversations with senior leaders and employees while remaining objective, grounded, and solution-focused.

Background building scalable employee relations processes, compliance training programs, and documentation systems in high-growth or evolving environments.

SHRM-CP, PHR, or employment law certification; experience in technology or SaaS companies with distributed workforces preferred.

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$97,600.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
