About the Role

The Employee Relations Manager is a trusted advisor to managers and employees on workplace conduct, conflict, and compliance. You’ll own an end-to-end employee relations caseload: coaching leaders through complex people issues, leading impartial investigations, and helping ensure our policies and practices are fair and consistent to promote a positive workplace culture.

What You’ll Be Doing
Employee Relations
  • Serve as the primary contact for employee relations matters, managing complaints, conflicts, and disciplinary issues from intake through resolution.
  • Conduct prompt, thorough, and impartial investigations into allegations of misconduct, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and policy violations; document findings and recommend appropriate corrective action.
  • Advise employees and managers on interpreting and applying company policies, procedures, and applicable employment law, with guidance from the employment legal team.
  • Lead or contribute to organization-wide employee relations programs and initiatives, including organizational change, redundancy, and transformation activity involving multiple stakeholders.
Manager Coaching and Guidance
  • Coach people managers through performance management, progressive discipline, performance improvement plans, and difficult conversations.
  • Partner with People Partners and leadership to resolve complex, escalated, or sensitive employee issues.
  • Build manager capability through proactive guidance and training.
Policy, Compliance, and Risk
  • Working with Legal, help ensure compliance with applicable local employment laws and regulations, monitoring legislative changes and updating policies and practices accordingly.
  • Develop, review, and revise People policies and employee relations procedures.
  • Partner with Legal and outside employment counsel on high-risk matters.
  • Manage terminations, offboarding, and reductions in force in a legally compliant, consistent, and respectful way.
Mediation, Insights, and Improvement
  • Facilitate mediation and conflict-resolution sessions between individuals or teams, working toward durable and fair outcomes.
  • Identify and address interpersonal or cultural issues before they escape.
  • Track, analyze, and report on employee relations trends, metrics, and case outcomes; identify root causes and recommend proactive interventions.
  • Design and deliver training for managers and employees on anti-harassment, code of conduct, respectful workplace, and investigation best practices in partnership with the Compliance team.
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and engaged workplace culture.
About You
  • You have proven employee relations experience and can execute independently while contributing to a broader global strategy.
  • You bring innovative, data-driven thinking to complex employee relations challenges, along with a growth mindset and a record of high-impact outcomes.
  • You have strong business and people acumen, with consulting, conflict-resolution, and facilitation skills across diverse cultural contexts.
  • You can lead, influence, and partner at all levels of the organization while keeping stakeholders informed.
  • You communicate clearly and inclusively, explaining complex issues, influencing decisions, and supporting others through challenging topics.
  • You exercise sound judgment, balancing colleague experience, organizational impact, and risk.
  • You can manage multiple priorities in complex settings and engage constructively with differing views.
