Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $33.36 - $43.36 / hour
Provides consultative services to employees and leaders regarding the understanding and application of Lee Health (LH) policies, procedures and employment laws. Monitors employment laws and practices and recommends changes to LH policies and practices. Coordinates, develops, implements and provides HR training, and education awareness programs to Leadership. Coordinates and conducts internal investigations related to alleged violations of LH policies to include alleged discrimination and sexual harassment or any other unfair treatment. Analyzes trends and statistical data for identifying and implementing retention measures and/or areas of concern that may potentially impact business operations. Recommends appropriate intervention strategies to Leadership. Proactively builds relationships by collaborating with Leadership and orienting them to the Human Resources and Employee Relations function. This is a remote position that requires residence in the geographic location with the expectation of physical presence in assigned locations within the Lee Health on a routine basis.
Candidates with PHR or SPHR certification with extensive HR/Employee Relations experience may be considered in lieu of BS or BA.
Must have a comprehensive understanding of human resources principles and practices, with special emphasis on employee/labor relations. Must have knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
Licenses: Not Required
Must have excellent consultative, communication, presentation, critical thinking, facilitation, mediation, problem solving, conflict resolution, change management and interpersonal relationship skills. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
