Qualifications

  • Five years of welding experience OR Associate Degree in Welding, Automation or related field (or currently working to complete degree) and three years of welding experience.
  • Familiar with GMAW & GTAW; Plasma, Resistance/Projection, and/or Laser welding a plus.
  • One year of experience with automated welding equipment preferred.
  • Experience with robot programming; Fanuc programming preferred.
  • CWI or working toward certification preferred, but not required.
  • Language skills: read/interpret routine correspondence, write clearly, communicate effectively with co-workers.
  • Ability to work independently.
