Job summary

Scheels in Minot, ND is seeking a merchandise associate to unload freight, tag and stock merchandise, and assist customers on the floor. You’ll follow shop guides, coordinate with specialty shops, and help maintain an organized, welcoming store environment.

The role supports a team-first culture with ownership values, ESOP benefits, and comprehensive health coverage. A high school diploma or GED is required, with some related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED, 1-3 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise as needed.
• Willingness to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Able to work independently and with team.

Responsibilities

• Unload product from freight, tag, fold, hang, and price merchandise for the sales floor or back stock.
• Restock merchandise on the sales floor and bring products to the floor for display.
• Assist customers and sales associates with retrieving and loading purchased products.
• Follow the Line Leader checklist, walk-through notes, and merch guides to prioritize shop needs.
• Coordinate with Specialty Shop Managers and display teams on shop moves and mannequin placement.
• Maintain an orderly appearance with general cleaning and organization around store/back stock areas.
• Work independently and with the team, demonstrating attention to detail.
