Job summary

Torch Technologies is seeking a Software Product Owner for the Air & Missile Business Unit in Huntsville, AL. You will translate operational and technical requirements into software features, manage the backlog, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver iterative improvements.

Responsibilities include sprint planning, demonstrations, and ensuring acceptance criteria are met, with emphasis on agile practices and clear stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

US Citizenship is required.
Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required.
5–8+ years in software development, systems engineering, or product management.

Responsibilities

Translate requirements into clearly defined software features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Maintain and refine the software backlog prioritizing capabilities and defects.
Collaborate with developers, engineers, testers and stakeholders to refine requirements.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and product increment activities.
Review functionality and tests against acceptance criteria and address gaps.
