Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in small engine repair preferred.
• Proven mechanic experience, preferably in lawn care or landscaping industry.
• Strong knowledge of rotary lawn mowers, small engines (2- and 4-stroke), and related equipment.
• Experience with zero turn riding mowers preferred.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Ability to provide repair quotes, understand warranty processes, and interpret technical specifications.
• Familiarity with safety protocols.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair a variety of Outdoor Power Equipment and other related gas-powered equipment
• Conduct regular inspections, diagnose issues, and implement necessary repairs
• Perform routine servicing, record maintenance history, and ensure optimal equipment condition
• Follow safety protocols, stay updated on industry standards, and conduct safety inspections
• Assist with maintenance and repair of the company's rental fleet equipment
• Stay informed about equipment developments, evaluate performance, and make upgrade recommendations
