Job summary

DuCharme, McMillen & Associates, Inc. is seeking a QA Intern to support the Quality Assurance team in testing software applications and technology solutions.

You will help create and execute test cases, perform manual testing, and report defects while collaborating with QA Engineers, Developers, and Business Analysts. The role offers hands-on experience with testing processes, test execution, defect tracking in Jira, and participation in Agile ceremonies.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/SE/IT or related field.
• Familiarity with web apps, databases, or programming concepts.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create, execute, and maintain test cases and data for software apps.
• Perform manual testing of web-based and internal applications.
• Document and report defects using Jira or similar tools.
• Participate in Functional, UAT, and Regression testing activities.
• Support QA by validating bug fixes and enhancements.
• Review requirements to understand testing needs and collaborate in Agile ceremonies.
