Job summary

Wall Connections, part of the Wall Residences family, is seeking a part-time (PRN) NEMT Driver in the Galax, Virginia area to transport individuals needing assistance. The role is as-needed with no guaranteed hours and will not be full-time.

Shifts are daytime with flexibility as needed to serve the community. Candidates must be 21+, hold an active license, and pass a DOT drug test and background check; driving history must meet company guidelines.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old with active driver’s license and clean record
• 5 years driving experience; no more than 2 moving violations or accidents in past 3 years; no major violations in past 5 years
• Defensive Driving Training preferred
• Nationwide Criminal Background check free of barrier crimes
• DOT drug testing and zero-tolerance policy followed

Responsibilities

• Operate a company motor vehicle to transport individuals needing assistance
• Ensure the motor vehicle is safely maintained, supplied, and cleaned thoroughly
• Communicate and document arrangements surrounding appointments
