Job summary

Scheels in Wichita, KS is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to support store operations. You will unload freight, tag and price merchandise, restock floors, and assist customers as needed in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 months related experience, ability to multitask, and teamwork. You should be comfortable with varied hours, including weekends and holidays, and maintain an orderly, customer-focused shop floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Retail merchandising experience is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload freight; tag, fold, hang, and price merchandise for display or back stock.
• Restock merchandise on the floor and bring products to display.
• Assist customers and sales associates with retrieving and loading purchased items.
• Follow Line Leader checklist and merch guides to prioritize shop needs.
• Coordinate with Specialty Shop Managers and display teams on shop moves and mannequin placement; maintain orderly appearance in stores and back stock areas.
• Demonstrate organization, multitasking, problem-solving, and teamwork as a merchandiser.
• Work independently and with the team; exercise tact and judgment with all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and willingness to take on other tasks as assigned by leadership.
• Schedule: varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
