Cogent in Riverside, Missouri invites a skilled Manual Machinist to join our employee-owned team. You will operate lathes, mills, and related equipment to fabricate and repair parts with precision, reading CAD drawings and blueprints.

Qualifications

Experience as a Manual Machinist.
Strong precision measurement skills.
Ability to read CAD drawings and technical blueprints.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and pass a pre-employment physical.
Experience servicing rotating equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Operate manual machining equipment (lathes, mills, drill presses, hydraulic presses, saws) for precise fabrication, repair, and maintenance of parts and tooling.
Interpret CAD drawings, blueprints, and manuals.
Fabricate components from metals, plastics, and composites to exact specifications.
Service and repair rotating equipment in water and wastewater industries, often under tight deadlines.
Select and align fixtures and tools safely on machines.
Maintain quality with precision measurement tools and document repairs.
