HJD Capital Electric, Inc. is hiring an experienced Journeyman Electrician / Electrical Service Technician to diagnose, repair, maintain, and install commercial electrical systems in the San Antonio area.

You will handle service calls, small projects, tenant improvements, and emergency responses with a focus on safety and quality workmanship. The ideal candidate has a valid Journeyman license, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read drawings.

Qualifications

• Texas Journeyman Electrician license required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Experience diagnosing electrical issues in commercial systems.
• Familiarity with NEC and safety standards.
• Ability to read drawings and blueprints.
• Willingness to travel within South Texas service area.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Perform service calls, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs.
• Install and maintain wiring, panels, lighting, and related equipment.
• Execute small commercial installations and tenant finish-outs.
• Install circuits, feeders, panels, transformers, and switchgear.
• Inspect systems and recommend upgrades.
• Test systems for safe operation.
• Complete service docs and inspection reports accurately.
• Manage service work from start to finish.
• Maintain safety and company standards.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes.
