Huck’s Food and Fuel in Peoria, IL, seeks a Market Assistant Manager to lead shifts, drive customer service excellence, and support store profitability. The role offers advancement to a store manager and negotiable relocation as openings arise.

The successful candidate will uphold Huck’s high standards, supervise associates, manage hours, and promote the Huck’s Bucks Loyalty app to customers. This is a full-time, on-site position at a 100% employee-owned company.

Responsibilities

• Gives all customers prompt and courteous service
• Observes shift operating hours and helps fill shifts
• Works the store manager's days off and at least two evening shifts per week
• Performs tasks as assigned by the Store Manager
• Communicates effectively with staff and management
• Follows all laws and company policies
• Maintains proper uniform and prompt service
• Records hours and deposit procedures as directed by the Store Manager
• Promotes Huck’s Bucks Loyalty app and helps customers sign up
