Job summary

Haley Ward, Inc. in Maynard, MA, is seeking a Project Engineer to join our 100% employee-owned team and contribute to municipal water, sewer, and roadway projects within a collaborative culture that values balance and community impact.

As an employee-owner, you will mentor junior engineers, lead design efforts for SCADA-integrated systems, and support a range of engineering projects from planning to execution.

Qualifications

• A BS in Civil Engineering is required.
• PE license or EIT on track to PE with related experience.
• Minimum 3 years in water/wastewater system design.
• Interest or experience with SCADA, pumps, and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and control project activities within budgets and schedules.
• Prepare professional, economical sets of plans and specs.
• Lead hydraulic design projects for water distribution and wastewater systems.
• Design pump stations from concept to commissioning (electrical/control).
• Coordinate with regulatory staff and attend hearings if needed.
• Mentor junior engineers and support business development.
