Job summary

OWN, Inc. is seeking a Civil Designer to help bring infrastructure projects to life, working with engineers, surveyors, and project teams to develop plans for roads, utilities, drainage, and site improvements from concept to construction-ready.

You will use AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design tools, learn new software, and participate in projects across Arkansas and nearby areas. The role offers employee ownership and opportunities to grow with autonomy.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and grow in civil design.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, CivilStorm or HEC-RAS.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and organization.
• Collaborative mindset and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare civil engineering drawings and design plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design software.
• Develop grading, drainage, utility, roadway, and site plans under licensed engineers.
• Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and project teams to turn design concepts into construction-ready plans.
• Review survey data, design details, and project requirements to ensure accurate, high-quality work.
• Support projects from initial design through construction while managing deadlines and multiple priorities.
