Employee & Labor Relations Manager

FPC Bangor is working with a large paper mill looking for an Employee & Labor Relations Manager.

Responsibilities:

·Maintain, develop and implement program objectives, policies and procedures.

·Develop and pursue new goals and objectives for improvement

·Assist management in understanding and implementing company policies

·Analyze information for union proposals, pay scales and wages, benefits, and working conditions

·Research & explain laws and legal affairs concerning employment to managers, supervisors and employees

·Collaborate with legal counsel and represent the company in contract negotiations and grievances

Requirements:

·BS Employee Relations, Human Resources or related field

·6 + years of professional human resource administration including employee relations

·Thorough understanding of human resources, labor relations principles, state and federal laws and negotiation techniques

·Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with employees, labor officials, and managers

·Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
